Mega Kermis Uden is truly mega: 10 new attractions and plenty of spectacle

From July 17 to 26, the Mega Kermis Uden is coming to the center again. With
as many as ten new attractions, this edition promises to be sensational again. Visitors
can look forward to exciting, fast and sometimes even frightening attractions. The
well-known family fair in Liberation Park is once again in attendance. In addition, there is an extensive
program with performances and entertaining theme days.

Attraction for the press release

One of the biggest eye-catchers this year is the Gladiator. At 65 meters, this booster is the tallest attraction at the fair. With speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, this attraction provides a real adrenaline rush. The Gladiator can be found at the Marketplace.

New attractions for real daredevils
For visitors who like thrills, there are several new attractions to experience. The Skyscreamer is a brand new giant swing that not only goes high into the air, but also spins upside down. Also new is the Inversion XXL. This swing lets visitors go upside down several times and provides plenty of ‘airtime,’ the feeling of being momentarily detached from your seat. The Destroyer is a rough, fast-spinning saucer that shows visitors all sides of the New Market. This attraction is known for its speed and surprising movements.

Reactor: attraction with an Udens touch
The popular Reactor is also coming to Uden this year. This attraction is known to fairgoers as one of the most fun and spectacular. A special detail: starting this year, the Reactor will be operated by the Uden oil cake family Christo and Prisca Vet. They stand every year from October 1 to the end of January with their cake stand on the Drossaard. During the carnival, several well-known Uden residents will also take a ride.

Family fair with Europe's largest funhouse
In addition to all the spectacular attractions, there is also plenty of fun for families. The 60-meter-high Air Force returns to the Market and the new Miami Trip XXL also makes its debut. Familiar attractions such as the Europarad, the Super Mouse and the Turbo Polyp are present again this year. In the Liberation Park is again a cozy family fair with many attractions for children. New this year is the Paradise Express. On the New Market there will also be a special funhouse: Heroes City XXL. This funhouse has the largest walking course in Europe, spread over four floors.

Games, food and fellowship
In addition to the attractions, there are, of course, plenty of carnival games. Think grabs, sliders and the famous camel race of the Belgian fairground family Severyens on the Biggenstraat. On the New Market there will again be the cozy Tyrolean village. On the Butter Market there will be a new grill stall including a salmon bakery. The poffertjes stall is in the Liberation Park and between the park and the Market you will find various stalls and games.

Activities and theme nights
In addition to the rides, there is plenty of entertainment daily in and around the fairgrounds. For example, on Sunday, July 19, there is a princes and princesses party in the Liberation Park, Monday, July 20, a rotary organ day with more than 25 organs and Tuesday, July 21, Ladies Night at the Butter Market. On Wednesday, July 22, Henk Dissel will perform. During Voel je Vrijdag on July 24, everyone is invited to be completely yourself: put on something you feel good in and join the colorful parade that passes through the fairgrounds twice.

On Sunday, July 26, the Candy Fair Parade provides a festive finale, where visitors can walk along dressed as cotton candy, donuts or other sweet theme. That evening, the fair ends with a light and laser show. In addition, there will be free live music and DJs every night on the Main Stage and Horeca Boulevard in Market Square.
